Camtasia Theatre

Camtasia Theatre is a tool that enables you to create an interactive menu for your Flash files. With a Theatre menu, users can quickly navigate between multiple movies or view them individually in a pre-defined sequence. Menu items can be viewed either online, or on a CD-ROM.
After you have created your Theatre menu, you can add or delete projects, and edit the menu properties.

To create a Theatre menu

  1. From Camtasia Studio, select Tools – Camtasia Theatre. The Camtasia Theatre dialog opens.
  2. Under General Properties configure your menu options.
  3. Under Colors customize your interface.
  4. Under Menu List select the Add SWF movie button to add a single movie, or select the Add all SWF movies in folder to add more than one movie.
    Click the Controls tab.
  5. Under General Properties select how you want your movies to react.
  6. Under Duration/Elapsed Time Properties choose how you want to display the running time of your movie.
  7. Under Preload Movie Properties define how you want to load your movie.
